Abstract
Bu araştırmada özel yetenekli öğrencilerin anne ve babalarının çocuk edebiyatına yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda özel yetenekli öğrencilerin anne ve babalarının tutumları; cinsiyet, yaş, öğrenim durumu, gelir durumu, kitap okuma alışkanlığı ve çocuğuyla birlikte okuma saati düzenleme değişkenlerine göre incelenmiştir. Nicel araştırma yöntemine göre tasarlanan ve betimsel tarama modelinin kullanıldığı bu araştırmanın çalışma grubunu seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen 109 anne ve baba oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Karagül (2020) tarafından geliştirilen Çocuk Edebiyatına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir. Veriler, betimsel istatistik teknikleri, bağımsız örneklemler t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) ile test edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda özel yetenekli öğrencilerin anne ve babalarının tutum puanlarının “katılıyorum” düzeyinde (x̄=4,03) olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrenim durumu, gelir durumu, kitap okuma alışkanlığı ve okuma saati düzenleme etkinliği değişkenlerinin anne ve babaların tutum puanları üzerinde anlamlı bir farklılaşmaya yol açtığı belirlenmiştir.

Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to determine the attitudes of parents of gifted students towards children's literature. In line with this purpose, the attitudes of the parents of gifted students were examined according to the variables of gender, age, education level, income level, reading habits and organizing reading time with their children. The study group of this research, which was designed according to the quantitative research method and used the descriptive screening model, consisted of 109 mothers and fathers determined by random sampling method. The data of the study were obtained with the Personal Information Form and the Attitude Scale Towards Children's Literature developed by Karagül (2020). The data were tested with descriptive statistical techniques, independent samples t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). As a result of the study, it was seen that the attitude scores of the parents of gifted students were at the level of "agree" (x̄=4.03). It was determined that the variables of educational status, income status, reading habits and the activity of organizing reading hours caused a significant difference in the attitude scores of the parents.
