Abstract
Öğretmenlerinin “öğrenci” kavramına yönelik algılarının metaforlar kullanılarak nasıl ifade edildiğinin belirlenmesi amacıyla bu çalışma yapılmıştır. Ankara ili Şereflikoçhisar ilçesinde resmi okul öncesi kurumlarında görev yapan okulöncesi öğretmenlerinden araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılacak 50 tane öğretmen seçilmiştir. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modeli kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubuna, araştırmacı tarafından düzenlenmiş olan Öğrenci…gibidir, çünkü…” sorusunun bulunduğu görüşme formu (Ek-1) uygulanmıştır. Boşlukları doldurmaları yönünde istekte bulunulmuştur. Çalışma grubunun vermiş olduğu cevaplar kavramsal olarak, kullanım nedenine göre, müspet-menfi oluşlarına göre kategorileştirilmiş ve araştırmanın bulguları elde edilmiştir. Bulgulara bakarak öğretmenlerinin “öğrenci” kavramı ile ilgili en fazla “çiçek”, “ayna” ve “yıldız” metaforlarını kullanmayı tercih ettikleri görülmektedir. Nedenine göre ise en çok “şekillenebilir olma”, “alıcı olama” ve “koruyucu olma” kategorilerinde yanıt verdikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu oluşturan öğretmenlerin neredeyse hepsinin öğrenci kavramı ile alakalı olarak olumlu metafor kullandıkları tespit edilmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmanın öğrenci ile alakalı uygulamalara ve ilgili literatüre katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Abstract
This study was conducted in order to determine how teachers' perceptions of the concept of "student" are expressed using metaphors. 50 teachers who will participate in the research voluntarily were selected from preschool teachers working in official preschool institutions in Şereflikoçhisar district of Ankara province. The study group is like a Student...arranged by the researcher, because...” the interview form (Apx-1) with the question has been applied. Requests were made to fill in the gaps. The answers given by the study group were conceptually categorized according to the reason for use, according to their positive nature, and the findings of the research were obtained. Looking at the findings, it is observed that teachers prefer to use the metaphors of “flower”, “mirror” and “star” the most about the concept of “student”. . According to the reason, it was concluded that they responded most in the categories of “being formable”, “not being receptive” and “being protective. It has been found that almost all of the teachers who make up the study group use positive metaphors related to the concept of students. It is thought that this study will contribute to the applications related to the student.
