Abstract
Kültürel Coğrafya, peyzajın yapısal durum ve değişiminde insani ve kültürel yönlere vurgu yapar. Bu noktada fiziki coğrafya özellikleri de önemli olmakla birlikte insan-doğa etkileşimi sonucu oluşan kültürel ortam, kültürel coğrafya çalışmalarının odak noktasını oluşturmaktadır. Anadolu’nun tarihi coğrafyasında “Kapadokya” adı verilen bölgenin en önemli yerleşim ve inanç merkezlerinden biri Ihlara Vadisidir. Jeolojik ve jeomorfolojik yapının sunduğu imkânların sığınma ve barınma olanaklarını kolaylaştırdığı vadide zaman içerisinde önemli bir kültürel peyzaj alanı ortaya çıkmıştır. Ihlara Özel Çevre Koruma Bölgesi içinde yer alan ve Aksaray İli Güzelyurt ilçesine bağlı Ihlara ve Selime Kasabaları ile Yaprakhisar ve Belisırma Köylerini içine alan Ihlara Vadisi, bu makalenin çalışma alanı olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada bölgenin kültürel açıdan sahip olduğu miras değerleri Kültürel Coğrafyada önemli bir kavram olan “peyzaj/coğrafi görünüm” açısından analiz edilmiştir. Bu analizde bölgenin somut kültür mirasına odaklanılmış, yerleşme, konut, din ve ekonomik faaliyet gibi beşeri etkinliklerin mekân üzerinde bıraktığı izler belirlenmiştir. Devamlılık gösteren hâkim ekonomik faaliyetler tarım ve turizmdir. Bu faaliyetlerin zaman içinde değişim ve gelişimi kültürel peyzaja da yansımıştır. Çalışmada kültürel peyzaj değerleri ve zaman içindeki değişimi, temel veri kaynakları olan saha çalışmaları, basılı ve görsel kaynaklar ile uydu görüntüleri üzerinden incelenmiştir. Görsel kaynak olarak hareketli görsel belge niteliğinde olan sinema filmleri kullanılmıştır. Filmlerde çekim mekânı olarak Ihlara Vadisi’nin kullanım şekli, coğrafi bakış açısıyla incelenmiş; gündelik yaşam faaliyetleri ve kültürel öğelerin film peyzajındaki durumu ortaya koyulmuştur. Bu çalışma, çeçmiş ve günümüz arasındaki kültürel aktarım sürecinde Ihlara vadisinde mekânın kullanımının ve değişiminin ifadesidir.

Abstract
Cultural Geography emphasizes the human and cultural aspects in the structural condition and change of the landscape. At this point, although the physical geography features are also important, the cultural environment formed as a result of human-nature interaction constitutes the focal point of cultural geography studies. One of the most important settlement and belief centers of the region called "Cappadocia" in the historical geography of Anatolia is Ihlara Valley. An important cultural landscape area has emerged over time in the valley, where the opportunities offered by the geological and geomorphological structure facilitate the shelter and shelter opportunities. The Ihlara Valley, which is located in the Ihlara Special Environmental Protection Area and includes the Ihlara and Selime Towns of the Güzelyurt district of Aksaray, and the Yaprakhisar and Belisırma Villages, has been determined as the study area of this article. In the study, the cultural heritage values of the region were analyzed in terms of "landscape/geographical view", which is an important concept in Cultural Geography. In this analysis, the tangible cultural heritage of the region was focused, and the traces left by human activities such as settlement, housing, religion and economic activity on the space were determined. The dominant economic activities that continue are agriculture and tourism. The change and development of these activities over time has also been reflected in the cultural landscape. In the study, cultural landscape values and their change over time were examined through field studies, printed and visual sources, and satellite images, which are the main data sources. As a visual source, motion pictures, which are a moving visual document, were used. The use of Ihlara Valley as a shooting location in the movies was examined from a geographical point of view; the situation of daily life activities and cultural elements in the film landscape has been revealed. This study is the expression of the use and change of space in the Ihlara valley in the cultural transfer process between the past and the present.
