Abstract

Küresel COVID-19 salgını, bütün dünya ülkelerinde olduğu gibi Orta Asya ülkelerinin ekonomileri üzerinde de önemli derecede olumsuz etkiler yaratmış ve bölgenin ekonomik refahı risk altına girmiştir. Günümüzde, COVID-19 salgını küresel bir sorun haline gelmiş durumdadır. Bu sebepten dolayı dünya ekonomisi neredeyse durma noktasına gelmiştir. Bu bağlamda bu çalışmada, Orta Asya ülkelerindeki son ekonomik gelişmeler ve bölgenin yönetim organlarının kısa ve orta vadede karşılaşabilecekleri temel zorlukların belirlenmesini incelenecektir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada, bu temel zorlukların aşılabilmesi için bazı öneriler sunulmuştur. COVID-19 salgını sırasında, bölge ülkelerinde iyice ön plana çıkmış olan zorluklardan biri, belki de en önemlisi, kayıt dışı faaliyet gösteren işletmeler ve kayıt dışı istihdam sayılmaktadır. Ayrıca bu çalışma, bölge ülkeleri için açıklanan verilere göre maliyetlerini değerlendirerek sektör bazında tartışmaya amaçlamaktadır.

Abstract

The global COVID-19 epidemic has had significant negative effects on the economies of Central Asian countries, as it has in all countries of the world, and the economic well-being of the region has been put at risk. Today, the COVID-19 pandemic has become a global problem. For this reason, the world economy has almost come to a standstill. In this context, this study will examine the recent economic developments in the Central Asian countries and the identification of the main challenges that the governing bodies of the region may face in the short and medium term. In this context, some suggestions are presented in order to overcome these main difficulties in the study. During the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the challenges that has come to the fore in the countries of the region, perhaps most importantly, is informal businesses and informal employment. In addition, this study aims to discuss the costs on a sectoral basis by evaluating the costs according to the data announced for the countries of the region.
