Abstract

Bu çalışmada amaç, kadın hentbolcularda reaksiyon zamanı ile hentbolde hedefe isabetli ve isabetsiz yapılan kale atışlarındaki top hızı verileri arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesidir. Çalışmaya katılan kadın hentbolcular (n= 12), ortalama 53,08  ±36,5 defa A ve genç milli olan, 12,08 ±2,2 yıl spor yaşına sahip, 22,91 ±2,4 yıl yaş ortalamasında olan 2005-2006 sezonunda Türkiye Hentbol Süper Liginde yer alan bir takımın sporcularından oluşturuldu. Vücut ağırlığı, boy, basit reaksiyon zamanı, hedefe isabetli ve hedefsiz dayanma adımlı yüksek temel kale atışlarındaki top hızı değerleri ölçüldü. Verilerin normal dağılımı Shapiro-Wilk testi ile incelendi. Tanımlayıcı istatistiksel analizler (ortalama, standart sapma, minimum ve maksimum) yapıldı. Verilerin parametrik özellik göstermesi nedeniyle değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesinde, Pearson Korelasyon testi kullanıldı. Tüm istatistiksel analizler, SPSS 17.0 paket programı kullanılarak yapıldı. Anlamlılık seviyesi başlangıçta p< 0.05 olarak kabul edildi. Sonuçta, basit reaksiyon zamanı ile hedefe isabetli kale atışındaki top hızı (r= -,603 ; p= ,038) değerleri arasında negatif anlamlı ilişki olduğu tespit edildi (p< 0.05). Hedef olmayan kale atışındaki top hızı değerlerinde ise istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki olmadığı görüldü. Reaksiyon zamanı değerleri düştükçe isabetli atışlardaki top hızı değerlerinin artacağı bulgusunun, hentbolde kale atışlarındaki performansa katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu sebeple, bahsedilen bulgu ve literatürdeki bilgiler doğrultusunda planlanmış reaksiyon zamanı alıştırmalarına, beden eğitimi öğretmeni ve hentbol antrenörlerinin, çalışmalarında sıklıkla yer vermeleri önerilmektedir.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the reaction time of female handball players and the ball throwing velocity data in accuracy and non-accuracy goal shooting. Female handball players participating in the study (n= 12), an average of 53.08 ±36.5 times senior and young nationals, 12.08 ±2.2 years of sports age, with an average age of 22.91 ±2.4 years, it was formed from the athletes of a team in the Turkish Handball Super League in the 2005- 2006 season. Body weight, height, simple reaction time datas and ball throwing velocity datas in accuracy and non-accuracy goal shooting were measured. The normal distribution of the data was analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test. Descriptive statistical analyzes (mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum) were performed. Pearson Correlation test was used to examine the relationship between variables because the data show parametric properties. All statistical analyzes were made using the SPSS 17.0 package program. The level of significance was initially considered as p< 0.05. As a result, a negative significant relationship was found between simple reaction time and ball velocity in accuracy throws (r = -, 603; p = ,038) (p< 0.05). It was observed that there was no statistically significant relationship between the ball velocity values in non-target goal shooting. It is thought that the finding that the ball velocity values in accurate shots will increase as the reaction time values decrease will contribute to the performance of goal shooting in handball. For this reason, it is recommended that physical education teachers and handball trainers frequently include the planned reaction time exercises in line with the mentioned findings and the information in the literature.
