Abstract

Abstract

Performance anxiety (anxiety), also known as stage fright, can be seen as an important factor that is frequently seen among musicians, hinders the performance of the person, and may even result in an almost ending career if experienced in a more progressive dimension. It is useful to know comprehensively what anxiety is in a matter that holds such an important place. This discomfort, which can occur spontaneously without any factors, can also manifest itself in risk environments. One of the most important factors in the emergence of this discomfort is that the person feels in danger and helpless in the face of an environment, situation or unexpected event that he / she encounters for the first time. This fear may differ from person to person, depending on age and experience. In this study, musicians, who are one of the profession groups that are most intensely affected by stage fear, how this fear emerged, why they experienced this fear, how internal and environmental factors shape this fear and what methods they should take in order to overcome the stage fear, and different measures to be taken. will be examined over.
