Abstract
Bu araştırmada Küba’daki ilk yerleşimlerden yakın geçmişe ve hatta günümüze kadar gelen kültür ve sanat ortamı ele alınacaktır. Kolomb öncesi dönemlerde adanın yerli halkının sanatı ile başlayan bu süreç, daha sonra Kolomb’un gelişi, İspanyol sömürgeciliği, çeşitli zamanlarda adanın el değiştirmesi, Batista rejimi ve Sosyalist devrim gibi siyasal ve toplumsal olaylar ışığında kendine bir yön çizmiştir. Bu sürecin ürünü olan Küba Sanatı da, sosyal ve demografik unsurlar, çeşitli inançlar ve idealler ile şekillenen bir altyapıya sahip olarak yüzyıllar içerisinde farklı eserler ortaya koymuştur. Bu çalışmada incelenecek olan söz konusu unsurlar, bunlardan beslenen sanatçılar ve sanat eserlerine yansımalarıdır.

Abstract
In this research, The cultural and artistic environment from the first settlements in Cuba to the recent past and even today will be tackled. In Pre-Columbian Era, this period that began with the art of native people of the island, afterwards shaped the direction to itself in the light of politic and social events like arrival of Columbus, Spanish colonialness, handover of the island at various times, Batista regimen and Socialistic revolution. Cuban Art that is represented of this process, produced different works for centuries having a substructure that has been shaped with social and demographic elements, various beliefs and ideals. In this study, the elements in question, the artists who was fed from these elements and reflections to the artworks will be examined.
